Antiqued and tumbled parquet

Oak is the king of trees because of its longevity. It is found in North Africa, North America, Asia and Europe. Oak wood is heavy, hard and characterized by high abrasion resistance, which predisposes it to the flooring manufacture.

All products are made of seasoned and dried material in specialized hardwood dryers.

ANTIQUED AND  FLOORBOARDS AND PARQUETS

Antiqued floorboards and parquets – rustic, with wavy structure of fibers which one can feel in touch. It exposes beauty of the solid wood grains. The irregular surface and numerous cavities give the effect of the original few hundred years old floor. Antiquing doesn’t effect the reduction in quality and durability of wood. On the contrary, the signs of floor usage are less visible. We antique beveled and not beveled, solid and layered floorboards.

We do mechanical (less distinctive structure of the board) or manual (very distinctive structure of the board) antiquing depending on the desired look of a floorboard.

TUMBLED FLOORBOARDS AND PARQUETS

Light tumbling of square edged elements

Aging by tumbling, i.e. there is standard aging of square edges (numerous dents and damages on the square edges), and the wide wear surface is very gently tumbled (occasional dents and scratches)

Standard tumbling of square edged elements

Aging by tumbling, i.e. there is standard aging of square edges (numerous dents and damages on square edges), as well as the wide wear surface has numerous dents of all kinds and minor damages, which creates a specific character of a heavily used floor

Standard tumbling of bevelled elements

Tumbling of elements that have previously had edges bevelled. The wide wear surface has numerous dents and minor damages of all kinds. Standard aging – tumbling of the bevelled edges of those floor elements is a process that causes less damage to the side edges than in the case of square edged elements, but by the additional bevel it creates a specific character of the retro style floor.
