Aging by tumbling it is damaging of the side visible edges (top) of the stave/ floorboard and the wide wear part (face) surface is very gently tumbled (occasional dents and scratches)
Standard tumbling of square edged elements
Aging by tumbling, i.e. there is standard aging of square edges (numerous dents and damages on square edges), as well as the wide wear surface has numerous dents of all kinds and minor damages, which creates a specific character of a heavily used floor
Standard tumbling of bevelled elements
Tumbling of elements that have previously had edges bevelled. The wide wear surface has numerous dents and minor damages of all kinds. Standard aging – tumbling of the bevelled edges of those floor elements is a process that causes less damage to the side edges than in the case of square edged elements, but by the additional bevel it creates a specific character of the retro style floor.
